Description
The state-of-art electrode is designed for Sensonics’ SI-03 state-of-the-art electrogustometer. This dual polarity electrode provides a more natural experience in testing taste sensitivity. Both the positive and negative electrode disks are concentric to each other, unlike devices that require the indifferent electrode to be held or attached to the neck. Depending on the anodal or cathodal current chosen, the polarity of the two concentric electrodes changes. For example, if the anodal current is chosen, the inner electrode is positively charged, and the outer electrode is negatively charged and vice versa. The recommended setting for most applications is having the inner electrode disk as the anode.
