This unit allows for sterilization of the entire electrode probe/handle/wire system and can be employed between test sessions. As noted in the electrogustometer administration manual, this unit should not be used for primary sterilization of the electrode probes. Such sterilization should be done using hydrogen peroxide or other approved liquids as indicted in the administration manual.
