Patented microencapsulated technology allows each scent to be released only when scratched. 10 minutes are needed to complete the test.

If time is limited, the Brief Smell Identification Test^® (B-SIT^®) may be preferable. With only a 5 minute test time, the B-SIT^® incorporates 12 familiar scratch and sniff odors. This test is available in three different odor combinations and has been translated into 15 different languages.
